You pick a release, architecture and language. Our server opens a session against Microsoft's own software-download service — the same public flow the retail download page uses — and asks it for the download link for that exact SKU. Nothing is hosted, mirrored or proxied here: the link points straight at Microsoft's CDN.

Links expire24h

Microsoft ties every resolved link to the session that created it and expires it after about 24 hours. The result card shows a live countdown. When it runs out, resolve again — the generated script keeps resuming a partial download, but only against a fresh link.

What the version states meancurrent · pre-release

Current means Microsoft still serves that feature update and it resolves to a direct link. Previous is the older update, kept online for a limited window. Pre-release (26H2) is not on the public download page yet — it ships through the Windows Insider ISO page first. Retired is disabled: there is no official link left, and this tool never points at third-party mirrors.

Enterprise, LTSC, Server and legacyeval · VLSC

Those images do not come from the consumer download service. Enterprise, LTSC/LTSB and Server ship as time-limited evaluation ISOs from the Microsoft Evaluation Center, Insider builds need a signed-in Insider account, and licensed media comes from the VLSC or the Microsoft 365 admin center. Picking one of those entries opens the official page and generates the manual-steps script instead of a direct link.

Editions live inside one ISOmulti-edition

Consumer Windows ISOs are multi-edition images. Home, Pro, Education and Workstation all ship in the same file and the edition is chosen during setup (or by your product key). That is why there is no edition dropdown — picking a release picks the right ISO family.

If resolution failsfallback

Microsoft periodically adds countermeasures against scripted resolution and blocks some datacenter networks. When that happens you get the official download page for that product plus a manual-steps script: copy the link from Microsoft's page, paste it into the script, and you keep resume, retry and hash verification.

Legallicense required

All links resolve from microsoft.com. You still need a valid Windows license to activate an installed system. This tool contains no activation bypass, no third-party mirrors and no torrents, and it never writes to a USB drive unless you explicitly pass -UsbDrive and confirm.
